Importing Pictures and Videos via Vista?

bikerlady_2007 asked:

I’m downloading several pics off of cd’s onto my new computer with the Vista program. But I seem to be having problems when importing to Windows Photo Gallery, all I want is just one set of photos, but how many ever photos are on the disc, Vista always downloads 98 photos of the set of photos. Is there some setting that I can change to get just one set of photos?

Have you tried looking at the help files with program?

Do you mean you want to pick what you want to upload? Only a portion of the 98 photos? I don’t think WPG does that.

However, there’s something called Windows Live Photo Gallery, also from Microsoft, and it has much more features, including choosing which photos to import.

You can preview what photos you want to upload onto your computer with WLPG.

    Get it here :

Exactly like the default Photo Gallery, but with more extras.
